Texas souvenirs were pretty straightforward. Ben requested, "gum, Skittles Gum, chocolate, or toffees" and was delighted with a box of Texas Taffy. Sasha's too little to care and got two cute little elastic bracelets, only one of which has already broken. And Sam, after some consideration, asked for a belt to wear across his chest to hold his Nerf gun. I thought that was a pretty well-considered souvenir request from Texas, land of the over-sized belt buckles.Mission accomplished (this is Sam with his "deputy face" on).
